God is so good. He spoke sweetly to me that I have put him on the back burner in small ways in the midst of my busyness. I had been in the habit of grabbing my Bible first thing in the morning with a cup of tea. Little by little as I let stress win the best of me, I started grabbing my work computer or my phone first. I rationalized that I needed to get my work done first so that my mind could be at rest when I read the Bible. If you find yourself making rationalizations, then you might be slipping.
It seems like a small thing, but I was reminded that my source of strength is from God alone. The first thing I want to do each day is connect to him. Work can wait :) Since I let my "God first" habit slip, I will be putting more energy into that in the coming weeks until it becomes a habit again.
As far as the body part of my challenge, I killed it at the gym yesterday! I have an official trainer and nutritionist now and I look forward to seeing the new me in a few months :)
